The great New York producers Chi Chi Valenti and Johnny Dynell(top photo), the force behind The Jackie Factory NYC(mothernyc), they once again and for the fifth time gave our city an afternoon full of art and fierce drag at the " Low Life " in the THE HOWL! FESTIVAL, the East Village festival of the arts, which was named in honor of the groundbreaking poem by Allen Ginsberg and began in 2002 . This "Low Life 5"  was a two hour show in the Tompkins Square Park inspired by East Village decades past, a mix of NY performers brought to the present all the memories from the East Village nightclubs and boites. I had just arrived from fashion week in Rio that morning, and I was beyond tired, earlier in the afternoon I bumped into Paul Alexander(we are neighbors) and he reminded of it, of course I had to go...I love anything that Chi Chi and Johnny Dynell do, they do it with love. It was a fabulous afternoon with great new and established talents, my personal special moment was seeing Princess Diandra again, whom I met many years(2003 or 2004) ago at the Ricky Lake show when we were asked to do a make over episode. Diandra and Linda Simpson(in the show also) were very so nice to me, it was my first TV show and they were already legendaries in the NY scene. Princess Diandra is in my opinion just pure perfection.

  I was backstage taking photos and below is the video I did of the end, of course I see things in a different way and in a strange light so I hope you like this moment I captured ...you should go next year. It is just one of the things that makes New York a wonderful energetic place to be .

After Andrej's baby was "out" and about, I did what I thought it was the right thing to do: so Andrej Pejic had his first caipirinha in Ipanema then we went to Copacabana to meet Carlos Drummond de Andrade. Now he was ready to meet the fashionable crowd of Rio...just saying !

It is true, I don't know how that happened...Andrej doesn't know how that happened either....but all I know is that Andrej Pejic arrived pregnant in Rio de Janeiro for the Rio Fashion Week...and he created quite a chaos at the Braziliam Customs and Immigration...I can promise you I am not the father...just auntie Gazelle !

 JFK on the way to Rio de Janeiro...

   We were on the way to Rio de Janeiro tonight to catch the last two days of Fashion Rio. I was going to watch the Herchcovitch show tomorrow and Walter Rodrigues on Saturday. Gorgeous Andrej was going to be in the Ausländer show on Saturday also...and what happens? The flight get postponed to tomorrow morning....oh well...I am going to miss the Alexandre Herchcovitch show, but Andrej will make it on time for his show on Saturday...see you later fashionable people! Arriving now on Friday night !

I can honestly say that I missed the Oprah show yesterday, it was a part of my afternoon to sit and watch whatever self discovery lesson she had to present us. The interesting thing is that I am not upset that she ended the show, it is all about evolving, and if you understood her message throughout these years, you can only be happy about the new phase of her life, and what an amazing ride, I never forget she was featured in the cover of Vogue magazine. She was so beautiful then, she is still beautiful now.
